I Love You Wall, Paris, France

Date Visited: April 17, 2007

Time Spent: 25 minutes

Can you feel the love? Or are you alone and sour like me? (read: in love with wine and Netflix)

What better place to go in the city of love, than the Wall of Love in Montmartre, Paris. Created in 2000 by Frédéric Baron and Claire Kito, the wall has the phrase "I Love You" written 311 times in 250 languages.

As you're wandering around the artist's district in Paris, the wall might be easy to miss as it's located next to a children's park, which I believe is quite fitting really.

Once taking in the great wall, you'll immediately begin to search out languages you know or can recognize. It's probably the best real life Where's Waldo game you'll play if you don't count hunting down all those Hidden Mickey's at Disneyworld.

If you're wondering what the red bits are, they're scattered pieces of my broken heart. #Dark

The wall even includes ancient languages like hieroglyphs! You'll start taking individual photos of all the languages #ForTheGram, and who can blame you, really? Spread the love!
